Bedridden Patient Care

Full-time care for someone who can’t get out of bed.

Caregiver adjusting pillows for a bedridden elderly woman at home

Bedridden care is physically demanding and unforgiving of gaps — pressure sores, hygiene and positioning all fail fast when care is inconsistent. This is a caretaker with specific bedridden experience doing it properly, every day.

How it works

  1. Tell us the situation

Condition, approximate weight and mobility level, and what equipment is already at home.

  2. We assess the level

Whether you need a caretaker, a nurse, or both. Many bedridden cases genuinely need both.

  3. Profiles shared

Caretakers with bedridden experience specifically — a different skill from general elder care.

  4. Placement and review

A review after the first week focused on positioning and skin condition.

Questions families ask

Do we need a nurse as well?

Often yes. If there’s a catheter, a feeding tube or an open bedsore, those tasks legally require a nurse. Tell us what’s involved and we’ll structure both.

Can one person manage the lifting?

It depends on weight and mobility. Above roughly 90kg, or for a fully dependent patient, two people or a hoist is safer. We’ll tell you honestly rather than let someone get injured.

What if a bedsore develops?

Tell us immediately. Dressing a pressure ulcer is a nursing task — we’ll arrange a nurse visit rather than have a caretaker attempt it.

How do you verify your caretakers and nurses?

Everyone we place goes through document verification, reference checks and police verification before they are placed with you. For nurses we additionally verify the qualification against their nursing registration.

How does pricing work?

It depends on the hours, the level of care, and whether the role needs a nurse or a caretaker. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we’ll share exact pricing — all-inclusive, GST included, no hidden costs.

What if the person isn’t the right fit?

Tell us and we’ll replace them at no extra cost. It usually happens in the first week if it happens at all, and it isn’t a problem — getting the match right matters more than getting it right first time.
