We started this after struggling to find care for our own parents.

OutdoorSeniors places background-verified caretakers, nurses, japa maids and nannies in family homes across Bangalore, Mangalore and Haldwani. Everything happens on WhatsApp, and a real person stays with your case from the first message to the last.

Why we exist

Finding good care at home is harder than it should be

Anyone who has tried to arrange care for an ageing parent knows the pattern: a number passed on by a neighbour, an agency that sends whoever is free, a caretaker who stops turning up, and no way to tell in advance whether the person walking into your parent’s house is trustworthy.

We went through it ourselves. OutdoorSeniors is the service we wanted to find: verification done before the placement rather than after something goes wrong, a caregiver matched to the situation rather than allocated at random, and an honest answer when home care is not the right thing at all.

Today families use us for elder care, home nursing, bedridden and dementia care, post-operative support, hospital attendants, night care, physiotherapy, japa and postnatal care, and nannies.

Where we work

Three cities, and growing

We started in Bangalore and now place caregivers in Mangalore and Haldwani as well. Good home care is hardest to find outside the metros, which is exactly why we went there.

A lot of the families who call us are not in the same city as their parents. Children working in Bangalore or the Gulf arrange the care, we deal with the household locally, and the daily update reaches whoever needs it.

We are a home care placement service. We are not a hospital, and we do not provide emergency medical care. If someone needs urgent medical attention, call your doctor or an ambulance first, and talk to us about the care that follows.
